Welcome To The 2024 Legislative Session

Happy New Year! It’s 2024!
New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms (NYCF) is pleased to kick off our 42nd year of ministry. As we embark on another year of educating, encouraging, and equipping Christians to be active, effective citizens, we are deeply thankful for the churches, families, and individuals that make our ministry possible through their prayers, participation, and financial support.
On January 3, 2024, the New York state legislative session is scheduled to begin. NYCF will hit the ground running, monitoring, analyzing and influencing legislation. On January 9, 2024, Gov. Kathy Hochul is scheduled to deliver her State of the State Address, giving New York voters a sense of her priorities for this year.
There is no doubt that many challenges await Christian New Yorkers in 2024. Assisted suicide advocates are pushing to add New York to the ranks of states that allow doctor-assisted death. Advocates of abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism are gearing up to deceive New York voters about the so-called Equality Amendment that will appear on the 2023 general election ballot. LGBT activists will attempt to continue normalizing and promoting gender confusion, both in schools and in other institutions. Other damaging far-left proposals like socialized medicine and the legalization of prostitution could also receive consideration.
Despite these ongoing challenges, NYCF will continue to equip Christian New Yorkers to speak the truth on issues of life, family, and freedom. We invite our friends and supporters to impart God’s love and His truth within the political arena this year.
