You’re most likely familiar with the Summer Olympics’ tradition of people relaying a fiery torch, hand to hand, as the flame travels toward the Olympic Torch for the thrilling moment of igniting the games. That exercise signifies unity among people and nations in the athletic arena of competition.
During Mars Hill Network’s 2015 Harvest event, our arena is a spiritual one, and we’re asking the Lord to bring unity of purpose in our listeners as they partnership with us in proclaiming the gospel!
We as true believers compete “…against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12). We carry the light of the gospel from place to place, from person to person, from generation to generation. We “let [our] lights so shine before men, that they may see [our] good works and glorify our Father, who is in Heaven.” (Matthew 5:16).
The Mars Hill Network is blessed by the fuel of your prayerful support. Without you, as part of our team, the light that Mars Hill shines forth could very well grow dim, and perhaps even go dark. Though the eternal light of the gospel will always remain strong and undefeated, our efforts of effectively fueling the flame of the gospel might become a mere flicker or a smoldering ember.
