VIRGINIA AND OHIO LOSSES

REPUBLICANS DID IT AGAIN. THEY LOST. WITH A DEEPLY UPOPULAR PRESIDENT, BAD ECONOMY, OPEN BORDER, MASSIVE DEBT, THEY LOST THE VIRGINIA LEGISLATURE AND THE STATE CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT IN OHIO.

IN OHIO, THE AMENDMENT WOULD HAVE LIMITED ABORTIONS TO 15 WEEKS, THE CURRENT LAW DOES NOT ALLOW EXCEPTIONS FOR RAPE OR INCEST, WHICH OCCURS INFREQUENTLY, BUT DEMOCRATS HAVE USED AS A BLUDGEON BECAUSE THEY WANT NO RESTRICTIONS. THEY ARE THE TRUE RADICALS.

VIRGINIA GOVERNOR GLENN YOUNKIN FACED EARLY VOTING, THE USUALLY HUGE DEMOCRATIC DEMOGRAPHIC IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA AND RICHMOND AND RESDISTRICTING WHICH MADE IT EASIER FOR DEMOCRATS TO FLIP THE HOUSE AND KEEP THE SENATE.  THE RESULTS WOULD SEEM TO DOOM ANY CHANCE – HOWEVER SMALL BECAUSE OF DONALD TRUMP’S HUGE LEAD – OF YOUNGKIN PARACHUTING INTO THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATING PROCESS. SOME ON THE RIGHT ARE ALREADY CALLING FOR RNC CHAIR RHONA MCDANIEL’S HEAD.

THIS ELECTION MUST BOOST DEMOCRAT MORALE A LITTLE. DEMOCRATS MUST STILL DECIDE WHAT TO DO WITH BIDEN, WHOSE POLLING NUMBERS CONTINUE TO DECLINE. BUT IN VIRGINIA, YOUNGKIN’S AGENDA FOR THE REMAINDER OF HIS TIME IN OFFICE APPEARS TO BE DEAD. I’M CAL THOMAS.
