MAKE YOUR MISSION A HOLIDAY TRADITION

The Mars Hill Network is setting aside the month of November to recognize faith-based, missions-focused ministries that produce life-changing results through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With the Christmas season approaching and needs increasing, we have chosen this month to highlight the spiritual and physical support provided by the Life Changing Missions to the people they serve. Listed are some Life-Changing Missions in the Mars Hill Network broadcast coverage area. As we get further into this cold season of the year, especially in our listening area, there are a lot of needs out there. For many, something as simple as a nice pair of warm socks would be a tremendous blessing. Did you know that SOCKS are the number one need of those experiencing homelessness? We find that to be interesting, and something that maybe we could help do something about.

Because of this, we started Socks for the Season, an opportunity to give some warmth this season to many in the listening area through something most of us never have to think twice about: SOCKS. If you’d like to partner with us in this manner, simply send us a package of new, unused socks and we’ll distribute them to local missions in the listening area. You can mail your package to us in the US at 4044 Makyes Road, Syracuse, NY 13215. In Canada, send it to Mars Hill Radio Canada at 837 Apple Down Drive, Kingston, Ontario, K7P1 C7.

WONDERING WHERE THE SOCKS WILL GO?

Do you live in Rochester?  Then those socks will go to Rochester.
Do you live in Utica?  Then those socks will go to Utica.
How about Cornwall or Kingston?  Then they’ll stay in Canada.
And with each pair of new socks, we’ll include a Gospel tract.
