Hour 2: Truth That Sustains

Written by on June 28, 2024

Pastors are facing challenges to do that their pulpit predecessors never imagined, especially as it relates to the same-sex matters. On In The Market with Janet Parshall this week we shared a valuable tool, a weekly phone call, that is answering the many questions that pastors across the country are wrestling with including: Is it ok for gays and lesbians to be baptized or take communion?, Is your church “gay friendly”?, etc. Since God led him out of that lifestyle, our guest has made it his mission to help the church and God’s people address the many faceted challenges of this issue, especially those who are called to shepherd God’s people. Once again we invited you to put down the Hollywood version of spiritual warfare and join us for an enlightening conversation about what it really requires and looks like to stand against the enemy’s tactics. Our guest has been helping people get free from demonic attacks and impacts in their lives for many years and took us back to the foundation, God’s word, to show us that it is not a battle of equal wills but secured victory through Christ that wins the day. We shared the story of a man who struggled and the lessons he learned to teach us why we do not need to be afraid to share the good news of the Gospel with others. He shared 4 questions to get people to open up and 5 that will help you respond to their toughest questions. We talked with a woman who took us to the other side of failed hopes and dreams and showed us that it is in those valleys of discouragement and despair that God is able to meet us and show how He is more than capable of meeting our deepest needs and longings. The news never stops and neither does our need to be watchmen on the wall for our families and we put the news under the magnifying glass of God’s unchanging truth.
