New York Families Foundation is a leading educational and engagement organization on issues pertinent to faith and family in the Empire State. However, our work doesn’t end at the state border. Through our national host, Family Policy Alliance, we are pleased to ally with forty other state-based organizations across America. We each promote principles that edify the family, defend public faith, and protect the vulnerable in our respective states and at the national level.

Each state-based organization, referred to as a family policy council (FPC), is independent and autonomous, yet each recognizes that we are stronger together. Rather than reinvent the wheel, our alliance looks to learn from one another, strategize together, and even pool resources in common projects. This relationship makes our work in the states more effective and allows each FPC to serve as a better steward of that which donors entrust to our care.

Our alliance advances the common goal of equipping and empowering people of faith for effective participation in government.

Today, we have exciting news to share!

Most Christians would agree that our government would be in better shape if more Christians were involved. However, polling tells us that in many places up to a third of the Christian community sits out key elections. Many of the people who share our values simply don’t vote. For many years, our organization dreamed of a day when we had the technology and ability to increase Christian and social conservative turnout in every election. This goal has remained elusive due to a lack of sufficient funding and personnel. However, that day has finally arrived!

Family Policy Alliance and Christians Engaged (CE), the nation’s leading Christian-based, voter turnout operation, have united to form a powerful alliance dedicated to advancing biblical values in our nation’s political landscape for generations to come. You can learn more about this strategic merger in this video. In short, Christians Engaged has developed the technology and tools we needed, but CE lacked the national presence to effectively bring the program before the larger Christian community. Family Policy Alliance, and its network of state-based organizations, has the footprint across the nation but lacked the right technological tools. Together, we are prepared to immediately implement this program. The goal is to educate and equip one million Christians across the nation—many of them from right here in New York—ahead of the 2024 Elections.
