Everyday Blessings #13: I Am With Thee

The Holiday season is upon us! For many, it’s a time of great joy! Parties and get togethers, time with family, sharing meals, baking cookies, trimming the tree, and so much more.  For others, it’s a time of loneliness.  A time of reflection.  A time too painful to bear.  I’m thankful that in those difficult times, we are not alone.

Isaiah 41:10 reminds us: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.” Mourning the loss of a loved one? Fear not; for I am with thee. Overwhelmed by the circumstances of this world? Fear not; for I am with thee. Experiencing discouragement or depression? Fear not; for I am with thee. Fear of the future? Fear not; for I am with thee. Whatever situation you’re facing, you’re not facing it alone. Cling tightly to Him and know that He is with you.
