Community Hymn Sing

The Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Association (AMHA) welcomes you to join us in a community hymn sing at the Beaver River Central School on Sunday, June 11, at 7 p.m. This gathering is open to the public for an evening of worship through hymns with added historical information on shaped notes and part singing. Donations will be received to help cover the expenses of this event and future events at AMHA.
In anticipation of the 500th Anniversary of Anabaptism in 2025, the Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Association (AMHA) has been doing a series of programs. Over the next three years as part of Legacy 500, we are planning to do a cappella hymn songs. Singing has been an integral part of recalling that history and inspiring the core values of our faith.
The Adirondack Mennonite Heritage Farm is a historical farm, recognized by the National and State Registries of Historic Places, built by the Moser brothers who settled in Lewis County in 1834. Today the farm is run as a historical learning center dedicated to the preservation of Mennonite faith and culture and the way of life of Lewis County farmers.
The Mennonite Heritage Farm is open for the season from July 1 to October 31 on Monday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (July-August).
