CAL THOMAS COMMENTARY MARCH 13, 2024
THE BIDEN BUDGET FOR THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR CONTAINS VAST NEW SPENDING OF MONEY WE DON’T HAVE — $7.3 TRILLION ON TOP OF A $34 TRILLION DEBT — ALONG WITH TAX HIKES ON THE SO-CALLED RICH AND CORPORATIONS. THERE ARE MORE SOCIAL PROGRAMS AND MILLIONS FOR PRE-SCHOOL FOR FOUR-YEAR-OLDS AND EVENTUALLY THREE-YEAR-OLDS. THIS IS NOTHING BUT FREE DAY CARE AND AN EARLIER CHANCE TO INDOCTRINATE CHILDREN BARELY OUT OF DIAPERS WITH THE SECULAR-PROGRESSIVE AGENDA. THANK GOODNESS SCHOOL CHOICE IS SPREADING ACROSS THE COUNTRY, MOST RECENTLY IN ALABAMA AN WYOMING.
EARMARKS – THE ADDING OF SPENDING FOR PET PROJECTS THAT DON’T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE NORMAL BUDGETING PROCESS — ARE ADDING MILLIONS TO THE DEBT.
AS MENTIONED IN MY NEWLY RELEASED SECOND EDITION OF “AMERICA’S EXPIRATION DATE,” NO NATION HAS BEEN ABLE TO SUSTAIN ITSELF WITH THIS LEVEL OF DEBT.
BILL CLINTON HAD BUDGET SURPLUSES FOR FISCAL YEARS 1998-2001. IT CAN BE DONE, EVEN WITH WARS AND A PANDEMIC. WHAT IS LACKING IS THE WILL TO DO IT. THIS IS WHY A CONVENTION OF STATES IS NEEDED. GOOGLE IT AND JOIN. I’M CAL THOMAS.
