(SRN NEWS) – With anti-Semitism surging around the country, the White House has announced what it calls the first-ever national strategy to counter Islamophobia.  The proposal from the lame duck administration details more than 100 possible steps to curb hate, violence, bias and discrimination against Muslims and Arab Americans.  Officials worked on the anti-Islamophobia plan for months, and are finally releasing it just five weeks before President Biden leaves office. The White House says the bulk of its actions will be rolled out just before President Trump’s inauguration on January 20th.

Paraguay has moved its embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.  It’s a bold move, putting Paraguay among a handful of countries to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel — including the United States.  Most countries run their embassies out of Tel Aviv in order to placate the Palestinians, who intend to make Jerusalem the capital of a Palestinian state one day.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lauded President of Paraguay Santiago Peña at a ceremony following the opening in Jerusalem last week.

An appeals court in Louisiana has ruled that NASDAQ can not require diversity on the boards of companies that list on the exchange.  The decision comes more than three years after the Biden administration’s Securities and Exchange Commission approved NASDAQ’s effort to force companies to place greater numbers of homosexuals, women and racial minorities on their boards.  The proposed policy would have required most of the nearly 3,000 companies listed on NASDAQ to have at least one homosexual on their board.

The British government has indefinitely banned puberty blockers for children with gender dysphoria after independent experts found there was an unacceptable safety risk in prescribing the medication. The decision is a major blow to the transgender agenda and reflects a growing unease throughout Europe with such treatments for children. The decision extends an emergency ban that was upheld by a London judge in July and will be revisited in 2027.  The U.S. is now the only major country that is embracing transgender treatments for kids.
