New York Families Hosts Weekly Capitol Prayer Call

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (I Thessalonians 5:16-18).
New York Families Foundation is pleased to announce that our weekly statewide online prayer meeting have resumed. The prayer meeting will be held each week on Mondays at 7:00 PM and will be led by New York Families staff and volunteers.
The purpose of the weekly prayer meeting is to pray for the state of New York and for the United States of America, entreating the Lord to unleash His power and transform our state and our nation as only He can. The weekly prayer meeting will focus on government-related prayer needs, and especially on New York state government. Each week, we will pray specifically for three elected officials: One member of Congress, one state senator, and one member of the New York State Assembly. All Christian New Yorkers are welcome to participate. While we may pray for or against the passage of certain legislation, we will refrain from partisanship during the meeting (in other words, we will not pray for certain candidates or political parties to prevail on Election Day, etc.).
