Or does it? Canadian midfielder Quinn is a biological woman, who calls herself “they” and identifies as non-binary and ALSO identifies as transgender.
But if a person is non-binary, can she BE transgender — a designation which acknowledges the two genders?
And if Quinn IS transgender, shouldn’t she be playing in the MEN’S World Cup — which she’s not going to do, because she’s actually a woman?
