At issue is religious freedom — how free is your state?
Napa Legal Institute, a Washington D.C. non-profit, says Alabama is the state where religious liberty is most respected and protected — scoring 86%.
Number two is Texas, followed by Mississippi, Kentucky, New Mexico and Kansas.
At the other end of the spectrum, the state where religious freedom is LEAST protected in Nevada, followed by Maryland and Michigan.
