Family Resource Center Annual Gala

The Family Resource Center of Oswego County (FRC) will host their Annual Gala on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 5-8:30pm. The Gala will be held at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center, in Oswego, NY. The Gala will feature a raffle, silent auction, and buffet dinner. The Keynote speaker this year will be Autumn Lindsey Higashi, Spokesperson for Students for Life. Seats are available online via our website, http://www.FamilyResourceCenter.Life . The Family Resource Center has been in existence for the past 39 years and currently provides pregnancy support, along with parenting and life skills programs for men and women in Oswego County. Through these programs, clients can shop at the center’s boutique, supported by donations from the Oswego County community. The boutique provides an opportunity for clients to obtain maternity and baby clothing, diapers, wipes, formula, and other necessity items. The FRC also helps with referrals to additional community help.
The Gala on March 23, themed “For Such a Time as This”, will feature Students for Life Speaker, Autumn Lindsey Higashi.

Autumn first became involved in the pro-life movement when she joined her local Students for Life group in October of 2016. In February of 2017, she filmed a rebuttal video in response to a Teen Vogue article that was making light of and promoting abortion. The video went viral, and Autumn found a platform to voice her passion for the pro-life movement.  Autumn now works as the Spokesperson for Students for Life and travels the country speaking at various events. She is newly married and living in Washington state with her husband, Nate. She hosts a show called Unapologetic, which educates the pro-life generation to speak in truth and love. She wants everyone to know why they believe what they believe.
