Everyday Blessings #5: My Life is in Your Hands
Written by Teddy on June 4, 2021
Recently, my dear aunt passed away. She had battled cancer for several years, and it was finally her time to go. She knew Jesus as her savior, so with her passing I have the Blessed Hope of seeing her again. I’m so thankful for that. She had a lovely singing voice, and I fondly remember hearing her praise Jesus with song. One that she sang frequently was by Kathy Troccoli and it was called “My Life Is In Your Hands”. Maybe you remember that one.
” My life is in your hands
And though I may not see clearly
I will lift my voice and sing
Cause your love does amazing things
Lord, I know, my life is in your hands”
Even through these difficult years of her battle with cancer, she continued to believe the truth in this song. She may not have seen clearly why God was allowing this sickness in her life, but she trusted that it was all in His hands. Now her faith has become sight. Her life is still in God’s hands. What a reassurance to know that we do not travel these dark roads alone. You may be facing a trial today. Trust in the one who sees the path ahead. Your life is in his hands.

Sorry to hear of your loss. When soldiers on the front line are “retired”, there is always a shift in the “lines”. New soldiers must move to the front line and they must lead, even when they may not “see clearly”.
