Weekdays 4:30PM - 6PM
I was recently speaking with a friend of mine who I see on a regularly basis at church and we began discussing the topic of sharing our faith with others. I will admit it can at times be difficult to speak about your faith if you're not sure if it will be well received and you may even be feaful of persecution. In Romans 1:16 it says "I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the Salvation of everyone who believes". If we are truly not asahmed of God's word and our relationship with him then we should find no reason to shy away from speaking up about our faith when given the chance. In fact we should desire to tell others about the love we have from our Lord and Savior, proclaiming how it has changed us and saved us from an eternity in hell.
Putting it in simple terms, think of things that you enjoy and even love. Do you take the joy that you receive from those things and put it under lock and key, making it a well kept secret? No, when we find or experince something that we enjoy very much we are quick to share it others. We do so in hope that they will also receive the same happines from that which we enjoy.Shouldn't we then be just as eager to share the way in which God; our Lord and Savior, has changed our life and entire existence?
If we truly love and enjoy God we should speak of him as we would the wordly things that we enjoy, boldly and without hesitation.
The Mars Hill Network was blessed to be a part of the Southern Gospel Harvest Concert, and to have a large number of our staff present for the event. From the Pre-Concert Broadcast to the musical acts of New Joy, One Voice and The Puffers, God was truly glorified and we thank all of you who came out to support the event.
