February 2013 Meeting
CPMA welcomes Richard J Ruch, VP General Manager of the Lamar/Syracuse office, for our February CPMA Meeting.
Learn a little about Richard before the meeting.
My wife Judy and I now call the Syracuse area our home after moving here from Williamsport Pa. in 1997. She is the love of my life and I am so proud of the work she is doing at New Hope family Services. We found the hills of LaFayette a place to put down roots and then found Eastern Hills Bible Church as our place to worship where I am presently serving on the Elder board.
We have 2 children ,Nicole and her husband Paul Laga and our son Adam and his wife Jessica and our only grandson Logan. and our specila dog Hannah.
I am now in my 43rd year in outdoor advertising and I plan to stay as long as they will have me. I started in the industry with Penn Advertising as a bill poster and worked at many different jobs throughout the years and now I am the VP General Manager of the Lamar/Syracuse office.
I have been a follower of Christ since 1983 and throughout the years spent time leading youth groups and teaching senior high students. My greatest joy is helping others experience the love of Jesus in everything they do.
I love to spend time in the outdoors hiking, hunting , fishing, skiing, snowshoeing , playing golf and teaching my grandson everything I can.

December CPMA Meeting
How thankful we are for a record turnout this past Christian Professional Media Alliance (CPMA) meeting on Tuesday, November 19. If you could not make it…we missed you!
Our guest speaker was John Carter of New Vine Media. New Vine records and promotes innovative new Christian music and media production at little or no cost to the artist.
John shared much of his personal journey to Christ, and as one who has been rescued from himself, the power of darkness and the world system, shared the media ministry that God has immersed him into. John’s message carried with it a clear aura of personal commitment to his God given vision, as well as a sense of urgency of delivering the message of hope to those without Christ.
You can visit John and New Vine Media at www.newvinemedia.com .
Next month CPMA will welcome Mars Hill Network’s Phil Pilalas.
Phil received his MBA with a Marketing concentration and a BS in Broadcast Communications. He manages the Mars Hill Network website, www.marshillnetwork.org
and serves as IT Facilitator for the radio network ministry.
Phil will be sharing some about himself, but hopes to offer ideas and resources that will help us to put the Internet in motion for effective outreach possibilities.
Join us next meeting at Denny’s off of 7th North St in Liverpool on Tuesday, December 18 at 11:30am. Lunch is self-pay.
